1197C SI Bottom Lock issue with 4.950
« on: August 23, 2010, 06:41:08 PM »
I have noticed that I am having a lot of problems maintaining a good bottom lock under 15 feet of water with my HB this year.  I don't recall if I was having the same problem with 4.750 early.  Is there a solution to this issue?

SmokinBobO,

Welcome to the forum.  You should have switchfire set to clear when in less than 15' of water and it should help.

OK.  I'll give that a try.  If I set a specific lower limit, the unit displays a good bottom and water column, but if left in auto it displays multiple bottoms and depth is reported in various numbers of multiples of the actual depth.
