HumViewer and NMEA sentence
« on: June 08, 2014, 11:51:21 AM »
Has anyone been successful with getting HumViewer to communicate with OpenCPN via the NMEA TCP interface?

The latitude is transmitted just fine, but he longitude has some problems. Here is the NMEA sentence;

[Src:Connection1_1]
$INRMC,042412,A,02931.7805,N,-094-58.4495,W,1.0,329.2,281269,0.0,E*47

I think it should be;
[Src:Connection1_1]
$INRMC,042412,A,02931.7805,N,09458.4495,W,1.0,329.2,281269,0.0,E*47

because OpenCPN keeps reporting the longitude as 001 34.000 E.
