Topic: Dash mounting 997

Hi ,

I would like to mount my 997 in a Ranger 188vsI I don't want to mount it out to the side of the consul if possible. Any suggestions and help please.

The nice part of owning a unit and boat is you can put it where you want. You must decide where and why it is important to you and how you will use it.
Transducers on the other hand are a special sensitive location with respect to individual boats and speed.
Others may post or you can the image section of the forum.

Look at the various installations on Bass Boat Central website in the Hummnbird forum and the Yahoo Side Imaging Groups.

We have quite a few installation photos here as well to look through in the Image Gallery.  I have not seen too many flush mounts on Bass Boats though.  If you could post some pictures of the dash where you want to mount it we could give you some better ideas.

Do you have the flush mount kit from Humminbird?

I have my unit flush mounted but have a Salt Water fishing boat.  Sea Pro 2300WA
