I know a lot of this has been covered over the last few years; however some of the advice may have changed:
 How deep do you think the transducer of the latest Helix can go down without any extra protection? Has anybody damaged a Helix type transducer by going too deep? From previous posts, the helix transducer looks to be well potted and good for 50 or more meters. What is the latest advice on this.
