Topic: Lakemaster maps disappearing

I have a 999hdsi with a northeast lake master chip. For some reason my lakemaster charts will go away while I’m on the water and I will be left with a blank white shape of the lake showing no depths or contour lines ? Has this happened to anyone ? How do I fix this! Going to a new lake tomorrow I reallly need my map!

Use a pencil eraser to clean the metal contacts on the card  ...

Sometimes the connection at the contacts don't "contact"  ...
