Topic: What is the latest update for the 798C?

Could someone please advise what is the most current firmware for the 798C? I have checked in the downloads section and it lists an update to 6.18 but upon downloading and installing that update it shows as being only 5.80.

Is somebody able to advise whether there is in fact a 6.18 or later update for the 798C as I would really like some of the features included in that update.

Which 798c unit do you have as the latest software version varies by the actual model name.

798c Si Combo – 6.350
798ci Si Combo – 6.300
798ci HD Si Combo – 6.600

The correct one will be available in your Humminbird account if you registered your 798c unit.

Hello Greg, thanks for the rely.

The unit is a 798CX SI (not HD) and is on a boat I have just bought. I haven't registered because the unit is used. Hopefully you can still assist me.
