Topic: Bought a 798ci si and old Wide eye T unit available

Ok, here is the story. My old wide eye was acting up last year, got to where it would only display depth. I bought a 798cisi and have it installed.

When I went to remove the wide eye transducer I found the top of it was totally  peeled back and it was full of water. Got me to thinking that the unit itself may be ok, just a transducer problem. Anyway, before trashing the unit I thought I would post here in case someone wants it. There are fine hairline splintering cracks in the plastic lens although they do not go all the way through.

 I am in SE NC. This unit is free to a good home. You can pick up for free or I'll ship if you pay the charges. Obviously there is no warranty that it works.
