I set the readings along the left hand part of the screen as follows,depth,temp.,time,and speed,,,,,ok now when I put it on SI split screen with gps navigate screen,they all change I get depth,course heading,temp and speed and speed again,I lose the temp reading why is this??

I think there are two screens for readouts. One has to do with sonar and the other with a navigation as part of the display.  check your advanced setting and look at selected readouts (2 different screens)
