Heading sensor NMEA 2000
« on: April 29, 2026, 02:33:48 PM »
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
NMEA 2000 is a standard that should work across brands.
So I can use any NMEA 2000 sensor with my Helix 9 G4N. If so, could I use the Garmin SteadyCast Heading Sensor?
I simply can't find the NMEA 2000 GPS Heading Sensor (AS GPS HS N2K, item #730029-1) or the AS GPS HS External GPS Receiver with Heading Sensor (item #408400-1) in any store in the EU.
Thanks
