Topic: 1197 not gettin gps info

     I moved my 1197 si from one boat to another I'm not getting a gps fix, the antenna is in clear view of the sky.  How can i see if the antenna is receiving a signal or is it in the unit?  if its my antenna where do i get another one? and model#s

In the Main Menu System under the views tab, make GPS Diagnostic View “Visisble”  ...

Then exit out of the menus and cycle thru the views until you see the GPS Diagnostic View  ...

This should give info if your GPS antenna is working  ...

The AS GRP will work on your 1197 as long as the software is 6.300 or newer  ...
