   Excellent images. Had you known they were there or did you just luck onto them?
   Did you scan at different angles or is this one pass?

I bet that contractor was quite peeved to lose that excavator.  The operator most likely was canned on the spot, that is, if he did not go down with the ship.  Very possible when moving big machines like that across the ice.
