Topic: Restore Default question

Tried to find answer, could not.

If you use the "Restore Defaults" option to go back to the original HB settings on my 898, does it wipe out the "updates" that have been downloaded?  (Do I have to update again?)

No, this in no way affects an installation of an update or what software
version you are running.

It only resets specific settings that you may or may not have changed (colors, maximum depth,
transducer type, views, etc.).
