Hey everyone, I have been reading post on here for the last year and must say, great place for info and learning.
I just put a companion 798C SI HD on the bow and was having interference issues.
I searched this foum and found the answer to be 83khz cross talk between the two ducers.

998 ducer mounted on Transom, been working fine for a year.
New 798 Ducer mounted on a PVC creation telescoping mount on the bow (didnt want to deal with TM motor interference).

I'll post pics soon on my latest PVC creation, PVC is like the Duct Tape of the fishing world.LOL

Anyway, found the topics I was looking for and walla.
