Topic: What is the true difference between 997 and 998

Is there really a large difference? I have the 997 and can get a 998 for a song, just wanna see if it is worth it.  Also would the transducer work on both units? (transom mount)

The main difference is in the processing power, ethernet capabilitites, and video output.
