Topic: Ram Mount Preferences?

Just got my unit in today and I am considering a Ram Mount for the Bow unit.  anyone have any experience with any particular model over the other?  Is there an advantage to having the unit higher (closer) to you or is it in the way?  Thanks for any comments...ALR
