Recorded SI range greater than set SI range.
« on: March 25, 2011, 08:33:39 AM »
After updating my 981 with the latest firmware the recordings seem to cover much greater range than the manual SI range setting. This is hard to see in playback on the unit, but is very clear when viewing with a PC. This is perhaps not a serious issue, but it could mean a waste of memory space in the SD card. Hopefully, it doesn't affect ping rate since that would reduce the image quality. Has anyone else observed this issue?

Regards,
Rickard

Rickard,

As I mentioned in the PM I am seeing this effect as well.  I am slo seeing the small gaps in the recording where it skips a few pings.
