Topic: No XM Weather

  unit is receiving full signal everything is hooked up correctly shows weather views but still says authorization is required left on for hours call XM they pinged unit several time said had to be unit problem or install. Install is good receiving full signal . Still showing diagonal lines on weather page. Any ideas?

I have  a 898.  Our weather has been so bad here...I wasn't able to hit the water for almost 3 months.  When I decided to check everything out before hitting the water.....my unit did the very same thing.  I contacted XM and after they sent me a few new signal boost and a couple of hours...mine has worked good.  Good luck.

Call HB today they said I must subscribe to the Basic Weather and Nav. package not the fisherman's package . I would have guessed the unit would handle the fisherman's package if it was used by a fisherman  lol. Boat in shop getting Cobia tower put on will see if it works by Friday.
