Topic: Help with helix 9 gen1 . Cant steer minn kota

I have a helix 9 si gn1 unit. With a minnkota riptide sp i pilot link. But i cant get the ipilot controller on my humminbird unit showing. So i cant steer the motor via the humminbird. I can spotlock and follow tracks and set prop speed via the hummimbird unit, but no steering. the menu shown in this video

i cant find on my unit. Can this problem be solved in some way ?

I had no idea this was possible (I have ipilot link /terrova/helix 10 g2n SI), but will check it out and see if I can activate the link this evening and get back. I had the latest updates as of around June, so dont yet know if it needs another update  for this feature?

Talked with a humminbird representative. He said that it has to be a bluetooth model of minnkota to get the virtual remote. So that sucks....

Yes it does. I know my helix 10 is bluetooth but dont think my minkota is. I would think there would be an upgrade available to add Bluetooth to existing minkotas such as my ipilot link terrova. If not they should get in this right away
