Hi, I just aquired a 998c HD si unit and was wondering if there was a way to get rid of or reduce in size the information window on the left side with speed, depth etc. It takes up at least an inch of the screeen. Thanks

There was a software update for the 998 that allows removing the boxes on SI view only (SI Readouts under the Sonar tab)  ...

It is possible to turn individual boxes off (Digital Readouts under the Setup tab)  ...

Note: some boxes in Chart views are hard coded and cannot be shut off  ...
