Lake Waco (Central Texas)
« on: October 31, 2012, 09:40:11 AM »

Images of the Old Dam on Lake Waco. This dam was constructed and the lake ready to be filled in May of 1930 to provide water for the town of Waco. by the 1950's they realized it was not near enough so created the new dam and filled the lake in the 1960's sending this old dam to a watery grave. The image is of the flood gates and notice that the control house still stands.
