If I am posting this in the wrong forum please move it.

Recently my LakeMaster Smartstrike/Helix 12si gen1 combination is displaying the incorrect depth for the lake I fish the most.  The lake is at normal pool but I have to set the Water Level offset at -6 feet to get the contour depth numbers to agree with the Helix depth readings.  The transducer is set correctly and reading straight down.  I re-check the readings each time I go out but so far it consistently requires a -6ft water level offset. 
I have reset the Helix factory defaults several times with software upgrades.  Most recently I added the newly available base map from Humminbird but I believe I had this issue before updating the base map.   Anyone else experience this issue?

The lake you're fishing may have been made at flood pool stage rather than normal pool, thereby needing to drop the water level on your offset to get it to match.

That is possible but I don't think so.  My previous LakeMaster card was correct and I believe this SmartStrike card was correct earlier this year as well.  I still have my old LakeMaster card which I will try in the morning to see if it registers depth any differently.

Both my old LakeMaster card and my new SmartStrike card read the same.  The survey must have been done with the lake a bit high and I just did not remember that the depth needed to be adjusted.
