All kinds of goodies
Far left white specs are reeds in 2-4 feet of water
next on the left side would be a coontail bed on the drop off
left/right is the bottom of the drop off with a "low growing" vegitation (only a foot or so tall)
far right is the bottom of the drop off that transitions into a flat with some holes on…

Suspened fish
I ran across these while scanning the lake the other day.  I am in southwest michigan and the largest species I know of in this lake is large mouth bass and northern pike.  I would guess by the number of fish this that this is a school of large mouth bass as I did not stop and fish the school.  It a…

Free boat!!!
first treasure I found with my new 1197C si...  Everyone always said fishe the "rock pile" 300 yards off the boat ramp and that is the size of a john boat.  Looked for it many times with 2D sonar and never found it.  Now the SI shows me the "rock pile" really is a john boat.  Thank Humminbird!!!

#1 Starboard bow
That's how the bow looked after it was pressure hosed in fall last year.
The old paint got partly washed away. Note the colour difference above and under the waterline: Everything under the waterline was "easy" to romove, because the water washed the antfouling off during the years and the thickness…
