Helix 10 Mega Sidescan angle?
« on: March 29, 2018, 11:55:18 PM »
I just purchased a new Helix 10 Mega sidescan DI G2N.  On my older unit a 698 I added a 2nd transducer for the port sidescan as my boat has a small rudder that entends the keel.  My question is with the new unit at what angle does the sidescan leave the transducer?  I'm thinking of mounting it lower on the hull closer to the center but will I lose the sidescan?  Does it come out of the transducer at 180 degrees to each side?  I really don't want to buy a 2nd $350 transducer.  thanks
