Over Zoom Message
« on: July 01, 2016, 05:02:07 PM »
Good Day HSI Forum Members, Torque from central Florida with my first post.

I have a 997C si with the Navionics Platnium+ #632 charts. When I try to zoom in to a particular area to a level more than about 1/5th of a mile, I get a OverZoom message and do not get details. Any input as to what im doing wrong?

Also I cannot get access to key features like 1ft contours,3d view, Satellite view or port photoes. The chart disc did not come with an instruction manual for it relative to the 997C si.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Two things might be at work here. First thing is,  what ever you are zooming in on might not have the mapping data in 1 foot contours. Not all lakes are mapped with data  in 1 foot contours. Ditto for the over zoom and no details.  Update the latest  data  for your Navionics card and whatever you get is whatever you get. I think your unit and map card are fine.
