Operating Unit With Transducer Out Of Water
« on: March 12, 2014, 12:46:17 PM »
This question may have been asked before.  For us guys with trolling motor transducers does it "stress" or harm HB units to leave them on while motoring to another fishing spot ?  Or should we turn them off before pulling the trolling motor out of the water?

I’ve never heard from an Engineer that this will hurt the transducer or unit.
