I cannot say for sure, but checking my 1197 NVB and Navionics Hotmaps Explorer program I do not see that Navionics has charted out your lake.

I do not have any Navionics cards covering your area, you might want to call Navionics to see if they cover your lake.

I do not believe that they are charting rivers especially since rivers are very dynamic with depths changing frequently.

You may want to purchase Navionics Hotmaps Explorer for $19.00 to view the lakes in your area ( Priest lake is not covered).

Hey guys please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for getting back to me  so if I do not have a card in the unit  it will not show any lakes is that wright , so the unit has no lakes in it from the fac.  so the only way to use the contour xd is with a navionics card  is that wright . so when I go out to a lake  it is not going to show that there is a lake there unless I have a card in it  its not like a gps in a car that showes everything  thanks ???

Contour XD is the current base map we are installing in the 898c Si units (it took the place of the UniMap we used as a base map before).  Some of the Contour XD maps do have depth contour lines on them although not at the same level as a Premium HotMaps or LakeMaster mapping card will have.  If the lake you are on is covered by the Contour XD base map than it will be shown, if not it will show it as land unless you have purchased and installed a map card that has this data on it.

As Greg pretty much stated is all HB SI units have Contour XD installed as a minimum.

My unit is a NVB unit and I have not viewed the new Contour XD maps.

Again not sure if the lakes you use are covered by Navionics, you might want to check with them.

If you post the lakes you fish I will try to check on them for you.  Somewhere Navionics posts which lakes are covered.

The list of waters with Contour XD is on this site in the software download section.
