Topic: Helix Mirror App

Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody has sniffed the networking data of 2 connected Helix.
It should be possible to write an App that will show 2D, DI, SI or 360 on a smart phone or tablet.
I only own a 9" SI+ unit unfortunately. But I guess Humminbird uses simple ethernet TCP/UDP protocol and it must be possible to sniff that data with a PC in the middle.
If one is interested in developing such an app please join.
Would be great to simply mirror the SI image on a 10" tablet and showing 2D or DI or both on the unit.
IT MUST BE POSSIBLE!!!

An interesting idea, Per Pelin also decrypted the Ethernet protocol at the time and used it for the live functions in the DrDepth software.
