Units supporting LIVE DATA on the water
« on: May 06, 2020, 02:22:53 PM »
Hi Guys,

Does anyone know which units of the Helix and Solix series support Live DATA on the water to a laptop ?

main use Ethernet connected !!

i'm hearing mixed info about not being possible to Solix and Helix G2 en G3.

Currently still running HB1197cxi on DrDepth BT+SS.

Thanxs

I would also be interested, because I also use DrDepth. The live Sidescan mosaic function is the most important for me.

I have Helix 10 MSI G3N (v 2.110) connected via Ethernet with the laptop and I use AutoChart Pro v2.300 (Released on 15/06/2018).

Unfortunately, AutoChart Pro cannot obtain live images using the MEGA frequency.
Functional only with 455Khz and 800Khz.

In October 2019, I opened a link on the Humminbird website and was informed that, unfortunately, they had no plans to make AutoChart Pro compatible with live images on the MEGA frequency.

So far, Humminbird has not made any updates to the AutoChart Pro software which is out of date in my opinion. :-[ :-[

Installed AC-pro v2.3 on my laptop.

HB1197 running v6.31 unable to complete to a working connection due to not being able to select correct 200khz transducer.

So installed v6.64 on the HB1197.
Now the correct settings were selectable and able to complete the live connection to AC-pro v2.3.

Hi guys,

Sold my HB1197.

Now running 2x Helix 9 G3N msi with Ethernet switch.

Today on the water the connection to my laptop running Autochart Pro V2.3 i'm losing the depth measurement.

Disconnect and reconnect with F3 immediately brings back depth.
But after appr. 3 minutes is loses depth again....

Headunit running V2.28 with basemap V1.030.

regards,
