Updating a unit

#1..Use a well charged battery. A/C converters can cause a problem if the a/c gets interrupted.
#2..only have 1 update on the card. And do not have the nav or map card in while updating.
#3..Follow the update step by step instructions to the letter. Wait for prompts before hitting any keys
#4..Have a downlevel copy stored where you can access it if needed. (on your computer)
#5..After the update goes successfully, bring your unit back up in small steps. (make sure it works in basic mode before putting in any waypoints or maps)
