Title: Humminbird NavigationPrefixes
Post by: Fishmeister on August 05, 2016, 08:18:30 PM
When I mark a spot with my 1198 the names are numbers prefixed with a "S" and sometime a "WP".  I'm fairly certain the WP stands for waypoint. But what is the "S" example S0002 stand for?

Pretty sure it's when a snapshot is associated with a waypoint.

That's correct.  If you set the option to make snapshots the SP with a camera icon will appear when you mark a waypoint.

If the SD Card that contains the screenshot associated with the waypoint is still in the unit ... hovering over the waypoint on the Chart view will show a thumbnail of the screenshot captured at that location ...
