Title: Loading maps
Post by: EQB on March 23, 2010, 01:17:06 AM
I have a 937C . I would like to download some maps. These are all self made maps of South African dams. The file format is a *.USR file. Once I have it on my SD card I do not know what to do with it. Can some please direct me. Thanks

EQB,

Welcome to the forum.

The Humminbird Units do not allow custom maps to be installed.  This has been on the wish list for some time, but as of right now, they do not offer this feature.

Good Luck and let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks,

Robert

EQ  are these previous lowrance maps.  I think .usr are the user files with wpt and icons.  Lowrance maps are the .lcm       I think some of these can be brought over.  chuck

thats what I thought Greg.    The .usr are data filies and the .lcm is a map cart program.  I thinnk it was something Lowrance did to protect the maps.   chuck
