Title: Status of 360 and updated software?

Is Humminbird working on software updates and maybe a viewer that displays in the 360 format?  With a few tweaks this unit can be so much better.  I have modified mine and have used it at 135' with great results.  An update that will provide more clear images and a few more bells and whistles will open this up to so much more.  Mark Michaud

I haven't read any reports of a 360 software update as of yet ...

As far as a viewer for 360 - not likely ... But who knows what HB is cooking up behind the scenes ...

This is probably the most affordable and best tool for finding drowning victims when there is a last seen, even a close last seen.  Used properly it can see more than side scan, even though the image is not as clear.  Some tweaking could improve that.  We spend so much time with side scan and divers in the water wasting time and resources.  On a tripod with a long enough cable, you can find someone fast. You can also guide your divers to the target.
