Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this site, but have been getting much information from Youtube. Humminbird, to me, has the best information about their products on video.
I am upgrading from my pre hd 788ci, quadrabeam, which is still good. Want to move up Si and Di.
I am having a difficult time wading thru the model choices, Onix and Helix and a good price on a new 999.
I have a Lowrance LMF400/NMEA2000 system that has fuel level and my ETEC info reading on the LMF400 head.
I would like to have the new combo capable og read these and give fuel data, i.e. mpg, gph, level, etc. along with engine information.
Are there any interfaces needed to adapt or can any of these units connect directly to my backbone?
Additionally would like i-pilot capability. Which all I have looked can do.
CHIRP would be good to.
thanks for any advise, Mike

The HELIX line replaced the core series xx9 series ...so HELIX will have a few capabilities not available on the previous core xx9 series ... AutoChart Live builtin in the larger HELIX 9, 10, 12 ... Widescreen format ... Brighter nit screen ...
ONIX is more customizable ...Comes in CrossTouch or NonTouch ... Can do builtin CHIRP or black box CHIRP ...
