Title: Hello Forum- First Time Here
Post by: brianatsea on March 19, 2010, 07:24:27 PM
Hello Forum,

First time logging on.  I search for wrecks off of the New Jersey coast.  I currently have a PirahnaMax fishfinder and have seen wrecks on the bottom.  I am looking to expand the technology to a side-scan system or other system to look on the bottom.  Also, does anyone know of radar that penetrates through the seafloor?

Thanks,

brianatsea

Welcome to the friendliest place on the internet. We have several people that are well versed in Humminbird products. We also have people from the factory that help answer questions. You can find lots of useful information here. If you don't see what you are looking for just ask. Someone will answer you.

Brianatsea,

Welcome to the forum!  We have quite a few divers and wreck hunters here.

The only system that I know that penetrates to seafloor would be a sub-bottom profiler.
