Title: Sleeper/ Standby Settings

I have an 1198 at the bow and a 998 at the console, I fish a lot by myself. Is there a setting on the 998 to put in sleeper/standby mode?

There is "Sonar Off" under 1 short press of the Power button ...

It doesn't put the unit into any kind of "sleep" or low power mode ...but it does allow shutting off the Sonar transmitters to eliminate crosstalk interference ...and still be able to use the unit as a chartplotter ...
