Title: XNT 9 20 T Transducer Question
Post by: cramar_2112 on March 01, 2016, 10:07:47 PM
first time poster - long time lurker!
Not really a side imaging question so hopefully it's ok to post.

I've been educating myself here for a while studying side imaging, planning on picking up a unit this spring but tonight I got a bit side tracked.
I currently have a pmax 170 with an XNT 9 20T transducer, I'd like to move that off my 16' aluminum and over to my canoe, I'm wondering does anyone know if I can get more bang for the buck on that transducer.
I'm looking at 565 heads on ebay, but I'm wondering - using the same transducer will I even get anything "more" with this sort of unit?
Not sure if the transducer is the limiting factor or if a 565 could get more out of it than the pmax 170.

Any insight is appreciated.

You will gain more screen space ...

Features are about equal ...

The 565 can use the XNT 9 20 T
