Title: how to edit waypoints on SD card
Post by: dvenable on February 22, 2016, 07:54:50 PM
I have my waypoints backed up from my 998c to my SD card.  I would like to open the file on the card and edit the way points with the computer.  Anybody know how?

Thanks Dale

Have you downloaded Humminbird PC?   If not, it should be available for download in your Humminbird account.

The software has embedded help files....Once you get it installed read the whole thing.

HumminbirdPC is junk, download garmin Homeport and GPSBabel, it'll be a whole lot easier once you spend the time to work out how to convert the files.

I think it's a good idea to learn how to use Humminbird PC first and then move on to something more complex if it doesn't work for you.
