Title: As grp with 997

Updated my 997 c so to firmware 6.300 so I can use a new as grp antenna as I read 6.300 was the minimum software needed to use the as grp however my 997 will not recognize it.   My old 50 channel still works just fine. Any ideas why I can't get the grp to work

Did you Restore Defaults before and after the update process ... ?? (This can clear gremlins sometimes) ...

I'm looking for verification that the AS GRP is compatible with the 997 (some links say yes - some links say no) ...

The HB accessory resource guide just lists general 800, 900, 1100 series units (not listed by each actual model number) ...

Called hb they said it will work but all they could tell me was to make sure I had software 6.300 in it which I have checked like four times......is there anyway to force it to reload the software.......hb said I couldn't do this.......any help is appreciated

You can revert back to an older version of software and then update again to the 6.300 ...

I would suggest having only 1 version of software on the SD Card at a time to minimize possible uh-ohs ...
