This been going on for a few weeks. The screen starts getting fuzzy at 5mph on the left side, then if I switch the engine to idle the left side gets streaky black blogs as pict. This will happen no matter what lake I'm on. I repositioned transduce and have tilted it many different ways.[attachimg=1]

Sorry first time posting pictures. This is my trans setup.

This is a different angle

Raise your motor up a bit and that might help. The top 3 feet or so on the left side image is your motor blocking your signal.
-
The picture was taken in the driveway, so the motor is not in its "normal" position. How do you raise a motor??
-
Trim or Tilt your motor up. Mine does the same thing. I have to trim my motor more than I thought. Mine did real good in a local clear lake with just 2 people in boat. Last trip with 4 people in boat full of gear, ice, full baitwell, ice etc. I actually had alot of difficulty fine tuning my setup. I wonder if weight and the depth that the boat sits in water affects it. Even at 6-7 mph, the angle of my boat in the water is slightly different with motor trimmed up. Maybe boat is spraying water or bubbles toward transducer?? I'm still learning... :P
What was your chart speed, sensitivity and sharpness set at?

Something looks more amiss than just the left side ...
Next time out get screenshots with these ...:
*Bring SI Range in to about 50ft each side ...
*Boat speed and chart speed at about 3 ...
*SI Frequency (try both 455kHz and 800kHz) ...
*Beam Frequency 200kHz ...
*Max Depth under Sonar tab to 20ft below deepest water in your lake ...
*Contrast 10-12 ...
*Sharpness Off ...
*Noise filter under Sonar tab Off ...

I'll park it on a hill so the motor is in the "normal" position and take another picture. I automaticly run the motor in ?"max trim" now, so I will try playing with that.
