So just got out with my helix 5 si. Seems to me im having issues with right Si. Ive moved the transducer a couple times and ive even pulled it off and used it without it mounted to boat to see if the surface clutter as im calling it goes away. It does not. And it only appears on Right si. it dosent seem to matter if ob motor is on or off. Ive tried it without anything on or running. Clutter on ride si is always there. Power is direct to battery. It seems to me that maybe one side is weaker or stronger than the opposite side. Ive attached a few photos. I have also adjusted every possible setting and nothing seems to help. Any help would be appreciated.

You've done a good job so far in your diagnosing steps that you have taken ...

The next test in this situation is to crosstest your head unit on another xducer or another head unit on your xducer ...

This will tell if the issue is in your head unit or your xducer ...

If this is not an option ... Call HB ...

Having the same problem with my 698 SI. It didn't have a problem the first couple times out but is doing it now. Motor on/off trimmed up/dn doesn't matter. Different water didn't change. I noticed yesterday that it has 2 distinct lines on right side now. Unit is only 2 wks old. Transducer problem?

Buzzy ... Can you post screenshots of your issue ... ??
(And please start a new post with your issue so we can find it in a search later if need be) ...
