Title: benefit of adding a transom 360 transducer to an 1199

I currently have the 1199ci HD si.  Would its capabilities be enhanced by adding the transom mount 360 ?

I was running a 1198 with a transom 360 and it is a great setup especially if you troll.  You are able to see what is ahead of you and also off both sides so you can fish the edge of drop offs using side boards or casting.  This year I have switched to the Onix in the back so I am looking forward to a great season.   The newest GREAT news is the ability to network the 1198 with the Onix.

Ok, I understand it will provide a 'forward view'.  In regard to the down image of the 1198/1199, any comment about the 360's resolution when compared ??
