Title: Trying to understand chart colors

I have an 898 unit that has the following options: Depth colors, Depth Highlight, Depth Highlight range, and shallow water highlight.

There is nothing in my manual that talks about these settings and I'm having trouble finding anything online. I was hoping to be able to have different colors on my auto chart map for every 10 feet change in depth down to 50 feet.

You can download the operations manual for the 899/999 units and it will have this in it as these features were added after the 898 units were made.

Thanks. I had no idea there was a manual other than the useless one that came with the unit.
