Just updates 1197. Need some help
Hey guys. I just got a 1197 the other day and the guy who had before me hadn't updated it ever probably. I know that it didn't to have down scan or the ability to turn the sonar off. Or the 2d could to be switched between max mode or clear mode
I used it once and the side scan was crystal clear and the 2d was crystal clear. I then updated it I the latest software and now my side scan is pixelated and so is the 2d. I looks pretty much horrible compared to what it was.
I understand that when I updated the software it added all the software for the extra accessories that weren't out yet when the 1197 came out. I own a few hb's and am pretty versed with how to set them up but I believe this one is out of my hands seeing how bad it is now.
I am interested to see if someone has an sd card that has an earlier update to see if I can get my quality back in my scanning or really anything for help
I was referred to you guys here from BBC. They said that the guys here are running 6.3 on their 1197's. I truly would be very appreciative for a link to it or whatever y'all suggest.

There was a 6.10 version but not a 6.100 version software.
Do not load a version older than what was originally in the unit when it was made or you could lock the unit up (“brick it”) and it would have to be sent into Humminbird to be fixed.
