Would love to hear from someone who has successfully installed the SI transducer on a Triton 216, please. Looking for the best place to install the transducer to receive a clear imaging of the SI at slow speed. My present install (back of transom) does not provide a good picture at speeds above idle. I am thinking of moving the transducer underneath the step in the back of the hull to get away from all of the turbulent water currently bombarding my transducer in the existing transom mount position. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to the Humminbird Side imaging Forums Jon.
I’m not a Triton owner but you may get better response if you post some pictures of the transom area of your boat. Include some from behind, showing the overall transom area, some from the right looking left and left looking right and all of them at the same level as the transducer would be.
