Im buying a new lund 1875 pro guide tiller and could use some feed back on rigging my electronics.
in the back I will have a 998c hd si and a 959ci hd on the front. also a terrova 80 on the bow. should I link everything, and how to I find all the right stuff to do so. also I will put a high speed ducer on the rear

Are you also planning on connecting the Terrova?
If so, does it have the US2 transducer, iPilot or iPilot Link?

terrova will have I-pilot link and universal sonar

Here is what I have so far, im going to add another si ducer XHS 9 HDSI, AS SILR Y splitter cable.
AS SIDB Y Cable and XNT 9 20T ducer am I close on the numbers

- That would be the XHS-9-HDSi-180-T transducer.
- The AS-Si-LR-Y is the left-right Si splitter cable.
- The AS-Si-DB-Y is the Si/2D splitter cable.
- You will need the MKR-US2-8 Minn Kota Universal Sonar 2 to Humminbird Adapter Cable to connect to your 959ci HD unit.
That should get your sonar set up.
For the Ethernet you will need:
- AS-ETH-5PXG 5-Port Ethernet Switch to connect everything together.
- AS-EC-QDE Ethernet Adapter Cable for the 959ci HD unit to connect to the Ethernet cables.
- Two of the AS-EC-XXE Ethernet Connection Cables. One to connect between each unit and the AS-ETH-5PXG 5-Port Ethernet Switch. These come in different lengths and that length will be part of the part name (it replaces the “XX”), so a 10-foot Ethernet Connection Cable will be an AS-EC-10E, while a 2-foot one would be an AS-EC-2E. Lengths are 2, 10, 15, 20 and 30 feet. Be sure and allow cable length to travel up to the bow/console and over and around stringers and such when it is routed in the boat.
The i-Pilot Link should come with its own Ethernet connection cable.

I just had my new boat out and only my 998 would read depth the 995 would only use map. Also no temp on either unit. Just updated both units , the dealer did the install

First thing I would do is perform a Restore Defaults on both units.
Is your 959 unit connected via an MKR-US2-8 adapter cable to the US2 sonar of the Terrova?
Go to the System Status/Self Test View and see if it shows the transducer as Connected or Unconnected.
Try swapping your 998 and 959 units around and see if the same units give the same results or if the results seem to stay with the mounting location (transducers).
Try plugging one of the XHS-9-HDSi-180-T transducers directly into the 998 unit to see if you get water temperature or not. This can be done while the boat is on the trailer.
