Title: 398ci si "in dash" mounting?
Post by: bigkahuna on February 10, 2015, 10:01:43 AM
I've looked everywhere and can't find a photo of the rear of the 398ci si.  Does anyone know if the 398ci si can be mounted in dash?  Does it have threaded inserts so I can mount it to the dash with screws?

Here is the site where you can get the installation guide for your 398.  I believe that that model has a slip in base so you might have a real challenge to do what you want to do.

Good luck
Phil

Yes, the 398si Si can be mounted indash.  The IDMK-300 is the kit for doing this.

Thanks Greg.  Found it just a minute ago.  Just the info I needed.
