Is possible to use SD WIFI card inside humminbird unit?
Why I ask this? because in this way you have a wifi connection between unit recorded files and PC.. in this way you can
preview recorded files while unit is still recording something (on the fly).. Or.. you can just transfer files without removing card from the unit..
It's good if you do some research on the terrain. Also multiple persons can preview same file or other files stored on SD card over wifi.

I haven't tried it but I love the idea! Don't know if this helps but I found this: http://hackaday.com/2013/08/12/hacking-transcend-wifi-sd-cards/ (http://hackaday.com/2013/08/12/hacking-transcend-wifi-sd-cards/)
Looks like it should work, not sure if u could view files and record simultaneously. HB has an Android app that does that but only works with Ion sonars.

Well, after using my best "google-fu" I haven't really found a definitive answer. My best guess is -yes- this is possible -if- you can find an app that will open the remote SD card and allow you to download files other than picture files. All the apps I've found so far are limited to working with some cameras and a limited number of file types.
