I Have a 899 at the trolling motor now I would like SI at the console. Would like for it to connect with the 899 (ethernet ) I know I will have to buy another cable to connect ethernet to the 899. If a VC1 cord could connect it would be a plus .
Thanks

The VC1 Connection was eliminated on the xx9 series units ...
An xx8 series or older (800 or larger) will be the only units capable of using the VC1 video output feature ...
Handy feature ...sometimes ...
But I wouldn't let that small hiccup deter your thoughts on the newer xx9 series units ...
Ethernet-ed xx9 series units have way more advantages than putting an xx8 series in the setup simply to utilize the VC1 video out feature ...

I agree it definitely dosent break a deal if it dosent have a VC1 output . If I find d the right deal and it dosent have one I will definitely still buy it.
Thanks
