I have the transom mounted 360.i really like it, but look at the link rickie posted.i think that the 360 might not be for everyone

I have a terrova so that was the way I needed to go, since I wanted it mounted on the bow. If my 360 was stolen tomorrow I would buy another!! I have a 959 at the front that I mainly use the 360 on, however I can view it on the 1198 at the console also.

I fish lots of standing timber, fish 17-40 foot deep in 35-60 feet of water, also fish brush piles in spring and summer. It works for me.

I have a friend that has really shortened my learning time with the 360, he has had his for probably a year or so and I just received mine this fall.
