I'm thinking of upgrading my old non HD 798 for a new 899ci HD model or maybe a 999 if cash allows but I doubt it. I was just wondering if the transducer supplied with the unit is good enough or should I upgrade to another one for maximum performance I do a lot more salt water fishing in about 5 to20 meters[15 to 50foot] of water then fresh here in Australia the in laws are going to LA for a holiday and will purchase it from Bass Pro any suggestions would be appreciated.
